Hello loyal fans and wonderful sub(scribers)!

Yes, welcome! For my returning fans, you’ll know I have a very special script available for you that is perfect to help you celebrate this month. For new fans, thank you very much for supporting me as I develop this game! You can unlock a special script for Locktober in the Gifts section of the Tribute Shop after unlocking Dedication Dollars in story mode. It’s sexy and a little mean and all you’ll need to participate is an ordinary ice cube from your freezer or fridge door.

I also wanted to celebrate the official birthday of Serenity in Surrender! I originally released this game as Doting Dominatrix back in August of 2023. Back then, I didn’t plan to have so much support. A lot of information about relationshps with dominant women are horribly misinformed all thanks to people spending too much time on corn sites. I didn’t think people would want to know what dating a dominant woman is really like. But you all pleasantly surprised me! We’ve had over 700 downloads and over 56 thousand in-browser plays! Thank you to everyone who has taken an interest in this game.

To celebrate this, I’ve changed the price structure for my game on Itch. The download price now includes all updates to the final game for free! Anyone who bought the game or the demo as a early supporter will continue to get updates for free. I’ve also adjusted the price to what I believe the finished game is worth. This won’t affect anyone who has already made a purchase. For anyone subscribed my Patreon, I’ll continue to upload my game on my website before uploading any changes on Itch. Just a little treat for anyone who wants to support me every month.

Without further ado, here’s a list of all the new updates:

- Released the start of Chapter 3! Please enjoy a little teaser of Daisy’s backstory as I continue coding the rest of the script

- Updated Mei’s character art. The Mei that is besties with Daisy isn’t quite the Mei that appears in the Player’s fever daydreams/tutorials. To help clarify this, Mei has a new outfit for all tutorial and shop scenes!

- Updated all UI buttons to be smoother and easier on the eyes.

- Updated all textboxes to outline text for legibility. I’ve also changed the default font and removed fonts that didn’t fit nicely.

- Fixed a bug where printed text started appearing before it should

- Removed the translucent background in erotic scenes and replaed the font with something a lot more legible.

- Fixed a large number of typos in Chapter 1 and 2.

- Adjusted a few sections of the story to make the atmosphere more immersive

- Added sfx to the hidden ending of the cooking minigame

- Fixed a bug where Mei’s spoken lines didn’t play the first time the Player entered the shop

- Limited the game to 1 autosave

- Added a ‘To be continued...’ screen at the end of the existing story to clarify that the user has reached the end of playable story... for now.

I’m also very happy to announce that I’ve hired Caede as QC! You might know her on Reddit as pinktomboy and she creates amazing illustrations that feature her OCs Lulu and Alvin as they explore their sweet and spicy relationship. There’s a lot of love for bigger guys as well, so please check out her work on Itch under caede17223!

And finally, for anyone who hasn’t found the hidden ending in the cooking minigame, you can find it by following these steps:

1. In the first choice, select that you want to make the canned tomatoes first.

2. After selecting the pot to cook the pasta, select the canned tomatoes again.

3. After selecting the frying pan to cook the meatballs, select the canned tomatoes a third time and say “Yes” when asked whether you’d rather be comforted by tomatoes than serve Daisy.

And enjoy your little bonus scene! I plan to put a  secret ending in all my minigames so I hope you enjoy what I’m planning in the next update.

For the next update, I’m planning to continue coding chapter 3 and implementing the foot massage minigame. I hope you’re looking forward to it!

Finally, thank you very much for following the development of Serenity in Surrender. I’m planning to update the demo later this month with the updated title and UI assets, so please look forward to that if you’re a free player.
